Today, the Pawnee are still celebrating their culture. they meet twice a year for the intertribal gatheri9ng with the Wichita Indians. There is also a four day homecoming for Pawnee veterans sometime in July. Pawnee Indians also return to their traditional lands to visit relatives, craft shows, and take part in powwows.
In the modern American world, they have many regular occupations, including teachers, artists, accountants, attorneys, doctors, and many others.
The Pawnee are also very involved in Politics. In both the 2000 and 2004 elections, they supported George W. Bush.
