The Pawnee G-d was Tirawa and the Walking Sun was the Pawnee medicine man or the Shaman. The Pawnee Indians believed that the creation of the earth had to do with the Pawnee’s thought, wants and beliefs. They also believed that the stars helped create the people. They worshipped the stars before dawn and after sunset. They had ceremonies for the stars and the planting of gardens.
